Acorn MG was excited to host the MG roadshow to showcase the release of the new Cyberster and 100 years of MG. The highly anticipated electric roadster was the star of the event, showcasing MG's commitment to advancing into the future while also appreciating the rich automotive heritage of MG. We were proud to invite the MG owners club to the roadshow to experience the new roadster while also presenting classic MG models.
A Futuristic Marvel
The first thing you notice about the MG Cyberster is the spectacular design. With its sleek lines and dynamic image, every detail designed with performance and head-turning style in mind.
The new electric roadster sets a new benchmark for electric roadsters, delivering up to 375KW of power (496 hp) and accelerating from 0-62 mph in just 3.2 seconds.
Charging from 10-80% takes just 38 minutes with a 150kW DC public rapid charger. The Cyberster also offers battery regeneration through Brembo brakes with three adjustable modes. This allows the MG Cyberster to travel over 250 miles on a single charge.
Celebrating MG's Legacy
The event paid tribute to MG’s rich history with classic models from the brand’s past were displayed alongside the futuristic Cyberster, thanks to the MG owners club. The long-standing relationship between Acorn and MG owners club was proudly displayed at this roadshow with members showcasing all different types of MG. Over the years, the bond between Acorn and MG owners club has only got stronger and this roadshow was a chance to show our appreciation. During the event, food and drink were offered to everyone as we displayed classic MGs and the futuristic Cyberster. Enthusiasts had the opportunity to admire well-loved classics and the new electric roadster.
